How do I order my custom Lewis Interiors classic collection furniture?

How is your furniture created?
All of our furniture is handcrafted in Phoenix, Arizona by brothers Ted & John Lewis personally. This is unique, as most furniture companies outsource their labor. These skilled craftsman have over a decade of experience in furniture building and upholstery, and strive for perfection on every piece they create. Prior to this venture, they ran a full-service upholstery shop in Phoenix with many satisfied and return customers. Their passion for MCM is unmatched. They are also experts in refurbishing authentic MCM furniture.
We use primarily tweeds for our upholstery (with the exception of our Grandfather Lewis Chair, which is upholstered in Italian-cut black leather). Our experience has shown us that these commercial-contract grade tweeds hold up amazing in any situation. Kids, spills, heavy-use.... You name it! Check out our Fabric Page for more info!
what kind of wood do you use?
We use only kiln-dried hardwood for our bases and armrests (except for the East Indian Rosewood used on our exclusive Grandfather Lewis Chair). Check out our Wood Tone Page for more information!
what kind of foam do you use?
Our standard foam is considered luxury by the industry. We only use HR-30 foam. This is rated as a 2.5 pound foam. It is California-compliant and hypoallergenic. It's truly the best!
How long will it be before I receive my Lewis Interiors custom furniture?
All of our furniture is made to order. Standard orders have a 4 week build prior to shipping. Shipping can be expected to take 7-10 days in most cases. While it's possible you may receive your order sooner, please allow the full 4 weeks. Specialty orders may have an additional wait time. That will be communicated to you at the time of order. can I send in my own fabric to be used?
Lewis Interiors loves to work with customers and designers on custom projects. Yes! We can use your own fabric, once it has been approved. Please contact us at email@example.com on where to send your fabric swatch to have it evaluated for usability. Please note that patterns and specialty fabric may require extra yards to upholster properly.
Do you ship outside of the u.s.?
Currently, Lewis Interiors only ships in the Continental United (48) States. We look forward to expanding our global presence in the future!
I've already placed my order. Can I make changes or cancel my order?
Once your order is received, it will begin production within 3 days. Once in production, we are unable to make any changes. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any questions about your already placed order.
What happens if my lewis interiors custom furniture comes damaged?
While damage is unlikely, sometimes things happen out of our control. Please check out our Return Policy page for more information.
Do you have any "ready-to-ship" pieces available?
While Lewis Interiors focuses on building custom, handcrafted furniture, once in a while we have ready-made pieces available. These may have been used for pictures or floor models with VERY LIGHT use. Please contact us at email@example.com if you're interested in what is currently available as "ready-to-ship".

How do I know if I have an authentic Lewis interiors Classic Collection piece?
All of our furniture have TWO unique markings. -Lewis Interiors branded maker's mark on the wood frame -Lewis Interiors authenticity tag sewn into the zipper area of the cushion
