Return and Exchange Policy
We pride ourselves on being one of the mid century modern furniture stores that wants you to be totally happy and satisfied with your purchase. We take great care in packaging and shipping our handcrafted furniture for safe delivery. However, we understand that situations can happen when you might need to return or exchange your purchase. If this turns out to be the case, we want to do what we can within our power to accommodate you. Please read our policies below, and we welcome you to contact us if you have any questions about these policies.
SAVE ALL ORIGINAL PACKAGING MATERIALS
In the event that a return is necessary for ANY reason, you must retain the original packing materials to ensure that the item is received back to us in the same condition it was shipped. We use specialty shipping boxes, and items MUST be returned in the same shipping box. In rare circumstances, this may require you to provide some additional packing materials if materials (such as the box or double-wall bubble wrap) were damaged during shipping or opening of the package.
DAMAGED ITEM RETURN
Damage incurred during shipping must be reported and a Return Request form received within 7 days of receipt. Please email email@example.com to have the Return Request form sent to you. You must submit this form with detailed information (including pictures) via email within 7 days of receipt. Depending on the situation, your Return Request may include a shipping insurance claim. This may require you to submit additional info and/or pictures directly to Lewis Interiors or the shipping company. We will walk you through this process.
NON-DAMAGED ITEM RETURN
30-day returns are welcome. While most custom furniture companies do not offer returns, Lewis Interiors really wants our customers to be happy with their purchase. All returns for reasons other than damage include a 25% fee. This covers your return shipping cost and will be automatically deducted from your refund once the product is received back to our warehouse. We will work with you to arrange return shipping. This fee is necessary and non-negotiable due to the nature of our business. Refunds will be issued once the item is received and inspected. All non-damage returned items must be received in the exact same condition they were shipped in order for the refund to process. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to have the Return Request form sent to you. You must submit this form within 30 days of receipt. No refunds are offered after 30 days.
